Over the years, we have worked with hundreds of women… I mean HUNDREDS! We’ve officially lost count, but just in the last few years, in our new branding, we have a record of around 500 boudoir sessions right here in Utah!
Every boudoir photographer is different, and it’s important to find someone you feel safe with, and someone who matches your vibes. We’ve written this blog to help you identify if we’d be a good fit!
(We've included photos that our real client, Miss J, approved. We think these are a great example of the type of photos we deliver...it's a great mixture of conservative and spicy photos!)
Each of our clients is unique and powerful in her own way, but there are a few things that are really common to see with our clients…
They feel:
Anxious about the boudoir photography experience
Nervous that they won’t like their photos
They trust Brittny, but don’t trust that their own body can be photographed well (self-doubt)
See any similarities??
It’s SOOO normal to be nervous or uncomfortable leading up to the boudoir session… Boudoir touches on sexuality, identity, and self-image, so it’s expected that prepping for your session will bring up some of your vulnerabilities…
One of Brittny's favorite phrases (that she learned from a Shaman in Costa Rica) is:
“What’s coming is going.”
That means, it has to come up to leave. It has to come up to heal.
Boudoir can be a tool for healing!
Trust us, you are going to look at yourself differently after your boudoir session. You’ll see yourself with WAY more compassion!
On that note…
Many of our clients are in some sort of transition phase of life and are looking for that healing.
Some clients are in a physical transition like…
Having a baby
Done having kids
Had surgery
Cancer or other health journeys
Getting fit / losing weight
And some clients are in an emotional transition like…
Leaving an unhealthy relationship (reclaiming self)
Learning to set boundaries
Learning to speak to self more kindly
On an “assignment” from a therapist
Either way, our clients want to…
FINALLY feel comfortable in her own skin
FINALLY celebrate the woman she’s become
FINALLY see herself the way others see her (give yourself some credit, honey!)
Also, many of our clients are women ages 25-55, and many are mothers, right here in Utah County and Salt Lake County.
And most of all… NONE of our clients would say they have a perfect body. No one feels comfortable in front of the camera! In fact, many haven’t had their photos taken before, or at least not since their wedding! Yet everyone falls in LOVE with their photos! Everyone leaves feeling like a goddess… so comfortable in their own skin!
Normal women with normal bodies realizing that they are actually goddesses!
Does any of this resonate with you?
