Utah County Boudoir Session

Dear Brave Boudoir Babe!

Are you considering a boudoir session? That's amazing! I know it can be a little intimidating to put yourself out there like that, but let me tell you, it's one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.

You deserve to feel confident in your own skin, and a boudoir session can help you do just that. So,

if you're ready to take the plunge, here are my EIGHT suggestions for learning to have more confidence in your body:

Practice Self-Care

Self-care is so important for your mental health and well-being. Take the time to do things that make you feel good, whether that's taking a relaxing bath, getting a massage, or just spending some quality time alone. When you take care of yourself, you'll feel better both physically and mentally, and that confidence will shine through in your boudoir photos.

Practice Positive Self-Talk

The way you talk to yourself has a huge impact on your confidence. Instead of criticizing your body, focus on the things you love about yourself. Practice positive affirmations and remind yourself of all the amazing things your body is capable of. Remember this: you are good. You have worth, and nothing changes that…regardless of your weight, shape or size.

Surround Yourself with Positive Body Image Messages

The media is full of messages that can negatively impact your body image. Instead, seek out positive body image messages that celebrate diversity and beauty in all shapes and sizes. Follow body-positive influencers on social media and surround yourself with messages that encourage self-love and acceptance.

Find a Support System

Surround yourself with people who lift you up and support you. Surround yourself with the type of body confident language and messaging you want to hear. Having a support system can make all the difference when it comes to feeling confident.

Exercise Regularly

Dude, this is hard, but it’s a game changer. Exercise is a great way to boost your confidence and feel good in your own skin. Whether it's a yoga class, a run, or weight lifting, find an exercise routine that you enjoy and stick with it. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel both physically and mentally. Exercise is one of the fastest wats to feel connected to your body. When I started weight lifting I suddenly felt a deep ownership for the muscles I was creating. This connection feels good!

Get Plenty of Sleep

Literally, my favorite place in the world is in my bed with a fuzzy blanket. It’s my safe place and it’s where I decompress. Sleep is essential for your mental and physical health. Make sure you're getting enough restful sleep each night to help your body function at its best. When you're well-rested, you'll feel more energized and confident.

Treat Yourself to a Boudoir Photo Shoot

One of the best things you can do to boost your confidence is to schedule a boudoir photo shoot. Not only will you have a fun and empowering experience, but you'll also have beautiful photos to remind you of your beauty and strength.

…Obviously, I love boudoir. The entire reason I shoot boudoir is to help women see the honest, divine power and light that is in them. We don’t have to create it - it’s just there.

By taking the time to practice self-care, surround yourself with positive messages, and treat yourself to a boudoir photo shoot, you can boost your confidence and embrace your beauty. Remember, you are worthy of love and acceptance, and there's no better time than now to take ownership of your life and love yourself
